Island Vibes depicts the lifestyles, the culture and expressions of the young, upwardly mobile, informed middle youth of Jamaica. The programme provides a web-like coverage of the entertainment scene of Jamaica. It exposes the major events and more importantly go into the nooks and crannies, off the beaten path to provide space for communal events, personalities and phenomena.
Island Vibes seeks to answer the questions: what makes us an Island; what makes us distinct, is it our prowess in sports, entertainment, heritage, people, language, and physical beauty or is it our VIBES. What is this VIBES: is it our walk, our talk, our look, our feel or OUR ENERGY?
