‘EMPRESS’ on a power move for Child’s Month – May 2008 THEME: “TEACH THEM WELL AND THEY WILL EXCEL” Empress goes into the streets for donations towards the renovations and uplift of a basic school. From the 1st of May to the 30th of May, Empress will personally be asking Businesses and individuals across Jamaica to support the school during the month of May. The school she has targeted is the St. Tekle Haimanot Basic School in Bull Bay. All donors will be invited at the end of May to the school for the media presentation and the revelation of how much money was donated. They will all be invited to the presentation which will also state exactly how the money will be allocated. Empress also states that the school is currently at a stand still in building a new classroom. So persons are welcomed to also donate, desks and chairs…computers and any learning tools fit for a basic school. Empress assures that artists and the entire network of Jamaican People are for the children and will donate without hesitation. All donors and supporters will be published in the media. Donations may be left during the days @ Livity Vegetarian Restaurant, in an enclosed envelope with all contact details. A receipt will be given to the donor.
