motor vehicle importation policy

I am disturbed by the explanation give by the authorities for the change in the motor vehicle importation policy...this change will affect the price of use motor car in jamaica ... there is no wisdom in making this move .... the use car dealer association are the only ones rejoicing .... the trade board has the option to refuse to remove the clause attached to any motor vehicle.... i have hear some utterances for mr. mike henry and this leads me to think this policy change is fueled by a vendetta ...he attachment off view of public safety is nothing but vail........check to see how much of the imported damage car are involve in these major accidents..

I was listening to the discussion with Diana McCaully and you just went off air. I rushed to the office (I was listening while driving) and you are also not online. What is happening. Will I be able to listen to it at a later date. Can I log on and listen to past programmes? I am especially interested in this topic

I am listening to your show this morning concerning Cash Plus and I must tell you, the gentleman you have on the show today (20.5.08) is either highly misinformed or blatantly misleading the people who are in attendance of the show. The issue of the banks not respecting Cash Plus cheques or the indirect influence of Lee Chin on the investigation of Cash Plus were not discussed thoroughly in contrast to the charges brought against Cash Plus. This vulgar presentation of information and discussion is the responsibility of the hosts and producers of the show. I would think objectivity and professionalism would be included in the show, I feel freely to let you know I am disappointed in that segment of the show and fear it leaves me with the expectation that the information presented by the show is based on partiality, not facts or the search for truth.

The PNP are the ones causing the violence in this country. The leader of the Opposition vehemently made statements on election night refusing to concede and causing unrest in the country. The PNP needs to sit down and shut up and let the prime minister do his job. Portia is deispecable. I am just frustrated and tired of them. We dont need an election now. The PNP is behaving as if the country is theirs.

Greetings The Nexus Performing Arts Company is a company selected by the Government to represent Jamaica in the Choir Olympics in Graz, Austria in July. How can we get on your programme to talk more about it and plead for sponsorship?

Please check out the Editorial Cartoon in today's Observer (June 30,2008). Is that really a fair cartoon. Why does the Observer so often do this?

Maybe I've a fixation w/the Observer but how can a Jamaican (a country mostly made up of ppl of predominately African descent) publish a cartoon protraying a black person as an ape. Isn't that playing the old Jim Crow race card? Doesn't the PAJ look at stuff like this?
