Dear Raga. I always listened to your show in Canada, and ENJOY every MINUTE of it. The Hon. Babsy Grange should fire all those people at the licence Com. Their dragonaire power seems to be TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Please keep up the good work, but do some adjustment, since so many children got fascinated with your show, and certain things they shouldn't really listen to. your GREAT SHOW is really for ADULTS ONLY. Why not make the show 9-pm. to midnight.

I think by this most children should gone to bed, and again the adults who are 9 to 12 for your show, could get to do their work in the days, before their bosses fire them.

As pertaining to the topic this week, cheating or the term 'Buning' and the 'Art of War' has one common element - DECEPTION. For some its easy for others its not. In this day of age, technology plays a major in deception as well as your capture.

You are from St. Mary and I am from St. Mary, born in a ONCE BEAUTIFUL LITTLE DISTRICT CALLED OXFORD. The place was so lovely when I was a child growing up, that today I think it would be paradise, but I came back to see the whole place become a GHOST TOWN

Now Raga, please call the Government and minister's attention to the disgraceful condition in St. Mary and my beautiful city Port Maria.

2) Call in all the guns. Tell all the people with guns to turn them in now and show the world how peaceful Jamaicans are. 3) Please call upon ALL your inner city friends to forget violence. 4) Set up a meeting once a week and call all the people who can't read and write to come and listen to some good and worthwhile advice from.

Raga, did u answer the question? Do you think its a wise idea to be friends with your ex? Whether recent or not? Well it should not be a problem if the ex is not recent but as for me, i still have feelings for my ex and i still want to be friends with him....mi nuh care!! Everyone comes in our lives for a reason. So why should we just cut them off because there is no longer a relationship. Sometimes it is good to be reminded of what you had and if you realise that the temptation is strong or you cannot resist, why not just get back seriously into it.

i'm really emailing you so that you know i'm in full support of you. when i first heard about how they wanted to "discipline" you i was appauld and so was my father who surprisingly enough is the "C" word yes raggae i am from a family of the "C" word and we are proud!!!!! he was the one who told me about it one morning and i told that was bull. i was listening when that topic was being featured and i laughed so hard that if i had in false teeth dem wuda drop out, i belive that the use of the "C" WORD is jus us as a peolpe identifying with our native creole lanuage, its not degrogatry to us jamaicans we are not in a cast sysytem in india. i wake up every morning and buck the radio so loud my cluster friends know i'm up. i live on the only hotel on campus and ragga when i leave for school in the mornings my cluster friends are listening, the security them a listen and when i take the gulid bus in the morning the radio lock pon news talk. i'm a broadcaster on the radio syndicate on my hall and ragga although i'm a lingusistics student i dont make fun fi chat up mi native lanuage sometime my Trini co prestenters find it hard to understand but they love it!!! i belive that until we as jamaican people can come to place where we can accept who we are and our own language then and only then can we say we are an "inpedendent" nation until then i believe that we are still colonised and many of us still under mantal slavery and cant recognise it. big up to you ragga and keep up the good work. you jus a happen so. no weapon that form against you can prosoper. i really want to do media and communication but the reggae unit look like me: ENTERTAINMENT, MEDIA & CULTURE IN ONE!!!! no ragga when i finish school wi can open wi own radio station wid ruth and the whole crew and we can have the ghetto reporter a broadcast live fi wi. Before leaving for florida to go to university, I did not really talk much patois or did not think that certain things i said was distinctly "Jamaican".

Is not until i reach florida and when they heard my accent, dem seh dat dem love my accent. And den i would respond an seh "which accent". Ragga, dat made me hold on to my jamaican language more; it made me comfortable; it brought be closer to my identiy. Cause lookin at me, most say i look spanish or latin, but when they heard my voice they identified otherwise.

It was difficult to fit in completely, as i did not match up wit the african americans, nor did i with the white americans, or even latin americans. It is only through the sharing of our culture as caribbean people of all shades that bound us together on campus. It was through our language that we found extreame comfort in our shared identity. Colour did not distinguish us, it was our language, our mannerism and style.

Ragga, I love your style! Do not allow anyone to take that away. You connect to people and that is what is important! My mother speaks about you all the time!

This is why I thought of your presence at a Forum on Child Abuse that the members of Zone 5 of the Caribbean District of Optimist International will be hosting on May 3, 2008 at the Emancipation Park beginning at 10:00 am

Hey Raga, i see u on campus all the time but always get cold feet to come say hi. Anyway, i listen to u almost everyday and i'm just loving it. On ur topic for the week i know about a certain man who is crushed to this very day after catching his wife with her pastor years ago.The wife was d holiest christian ever,always reading her bible & evangelising to sinners. She even stopped having sex with her husband of 23yrs cause she claimed she wanted to be closer drawn to God. The woman was just exemplary in the sight of many. Anyway, her husband eventually got suspicious when she was always talking about pastor says this and pastor says that. She even started going to church everynight even when it was men's fellowship night. He followed her onenight & after church was over & everyone left he realized that he didnt see his wife come out, so he silently went inside the church & decided to check the pastor's office after he heard moaning coming from inside. Raga, guess what the poor man saw?

His wife bending over the pastor's desk & the pastor behind riding away quoting the 23rd psalm.The poor man was not only shocked but greatly hurt cause he said his wife never gave it to him like that. She always claimed that those were worldly things & she claimed that she would never sink to the sins of the world, she was just a stranger passing through. Anyway the pastor had to leave the church & the community caused the husband didnt hesitate to published it & the wife flew out of the island shortly to live with her grown kids abroad.
